8 Personal Protective Equipment

PPE is the main source of protection for all staff and vendors. It is necessary to protect workers from physical, chemical, and biological hazards. Routes of exposure include inhalation, dermal contact, ingestion, or contact through mucous membranes. Depending on the hazard, the recommendations for the use of PPE change. All vendors are required to provide their employees with the appropriate PPE for the projects being performed at ASM Global facilities.
