Kai Tak Sports Park extends across 28 hectares with multiple venues at a cost of $29.9B and is intended to be a destination for events across Hong Kong and all of Asia Pacific
This green venue design has already been awarded and recognized for its building design and commitment to sustainability
  • A main stadium with a fixed seating capacity of 50,000 boasting a retractable roof and flexible pitch surface designed with the intent of hosting sports, entertainment, and community events
  • An Indoor Sports Centre seating up to 10,000, features 80% retractable or removal seating catered to each event and will host indoor sports and competitions
  • Ancillary sports hall for more intimate events with a seating capacity of up to 500
  • Public Sports Ground showcases a capacity of 5,000 suitable for hosting athletic meets, local football and rugby matches and athlete training sessions.Can be open daily to the public for jogging and exercise
Additional Public Spaces are designed to cater to the community and participatory sports, active recreation and sports events.It is composed of various activity and education zones, galleries, trail and elements that honor the heritage of Kai Tak.
  • Main Plaza is the heartbeat of the development and designed to provide an abundant share for visitors during events
  • Event Village offers a mix of lawn and concrete floors surfaces suitable for different programming and events
  • South Plaza offers an open-air multi-purpose space for a wide range of activities and connect the Harbour front promenade through an outdoor amphitheater terrace
  • Neighborhood Park will be equipped with courts, cycling track, a jogging trail and a playground
  • Dining Cove overlooks the Victoria Harbour will offer a diverse range of food & beverage options and in addition to restaurants, retail shops and a health and wellness centre, there will be an international -standard bowling centre and 40 lanes suitable for international tournaments.
