(Pittsburgh, Penn. – Aug. 24, 2023) — The David L. Lawrence Center, part of the ASM Global portfolio, has announced that two of its associates were recognized during the International Association of Venue Managers’ Venue Connect 2023 Conference in Pittsburgh on Aug. 2, 2023.
The Above and Beyond Foundation, which recognizes and rewards hospitality employees who work on the front line, honored cleaning staff member Crystal Mar with the Heart of Hospitality Award and security officer Shaquona Hipps with the Hero of Hospitality Award, along with checks for $10,000 and $5,000, respectively.

Lawrence Convention Center. “They are incredibly passionate and hardworking individuals, and it is such a pleasure to be able to recognize these ladies with this much-deserved reward.”
