NEW YORK, April 28, 2025 – Legends today announced that Brandon Nelson has been appointed as Chief Legal Officer of the combined Legends and ASM Global business. Nelson brings over two decades of experience in complex commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance within the travel, transportation, and hospitality industries. He was most recently the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at JetBlue Airways.

As Legends and ASM Global integrate into a single entity, Nelson will lead the combined company's legal team, providing vital legal guidance in partner negotiations, regulatory issues, public policy, compliance, labor law, and risk assessment and mitigation. He will also serve as a key leader on the executive team, providing counsel on corporate strategy and working alongside business leaders to achieve organizational goals.

Nelson joins Legends / ASM Global after nearly 20 years in leadership roles with increasing responsibilities at JetBlue Airways, most recently serving six years as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. In that position, he led the Legal, Ethics and Compliance, Sustainability, and JetBlue Ventures teams. Additionally, Nelson was a member of the Investment Committee of JetBlue Technology Ventures, the Silicon Valley venture capital subsidiary he co-founded, where he set the investment strategy for the fund and provided guidance on integrating portfolio companies’ technology into the parent company. Earlier in his career, he worked at Shearman & Sterling and managed his own law firm. Nelson has over 10 years of service on non-profit boards. He earned an undergraduate degree in International Business with a concentration in Finance from Howard University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from New York University School of Law.
