About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Project Manager (Capital Delivery) to join our team and lead the delivery of our Capital Delivery Programme. This role will focus on managing projects, minor works, asset replacement, and renovations to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. You will play a vital role in enhancing our asset base, ensuring it meets the business's performance, functionality, aesthetics, and reliability needs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the European business's strategic plans and objectives.
  • Engage with Estates Team Leadership to ensure effective planning and high-quality delivery across the estate, enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the business and Capital Delivery Expenditure (CapEx) plans, ensuring compliance with standards, budget, and timelines.
  • Manage project budgets and operational costs in collaboration with the Leadership team.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to promote a culture of business change and effective communication.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, ensuring transparency and adherence to plans.
  • Develop and implement a change management plan, focusing on team engagement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project priorities, scope, and milestones, with regular reporting at Tactical and Strategic levels.
  • Maintain evidence of performance, conducting systematic reviews of time, cost, and quality, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure necessary skills and competencies are in place to deliver high-quality service.
  • Oversee the proactive management of estate assets, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience managing projects across multiple sites, with a strong track record in tactical delivery.
  • Background in development projects, preferably within the hospitality or facilities sector.
  • Minimum Certificate Level qualification in Civil, Structural, M&E, or Building Services.
  • Desirable formal project management accreditation (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMQ, PRINCE2) and membership in APM or similar.
  • Proven budgetary control and cost management skills, with experience managing projects up to £5 million.
  • High degree of technical expertise and understanding of project management methodologies, including Continuous Improvement.
  • stakeholder liaison and relationship management skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and host meetings effectively.
  • Proficient in data analysis to evaluate project outcomes against objectives and drive insights for improvement.
  • Experience in process change documentation using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) standards.
  • Passionate about delivering continuous improvement and business change within challenging timeframes.
  • An advocate for change, capable of influencing without direct authority and building effective relationships.
  • Results-oriented and delivery-focused in a fast-paced environment.
