About Becketwell Live, Derby

Becketwell Live is a cutting-edge events complex with a capacity of up to 3,500 people. It is designed to host a variety of events, including large corporate conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, major touring concerts, stand-up comedy, family performances, and sporting events. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand-new venue.

Role Overview

As the Premium Sales & C&E Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth through the strategic development and execution of sales initiatives for premium seating, hospitality, and conference & events offerings.

You will lead a team of sales professionals, ensuring they deliver exceptional results and exceed targets This role requires a strategic approach to sales, focusing on both new business development and maintaining a robust sales pipeline to ensure ongoing revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at new business sales growth while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline to ensure consistent forward revenue.
  • Own and manage the revenue forecast, providing regular insights and strategies to achieve and exceed budget targets.
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives within key accounts and across the broader portfolio to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, offering guidance and support to maximize their potential and performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders. Identify and pursue new opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with marketing, customer service, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, monitoring performance against targets to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Influence the marketing strategy, support retention efforts, and continually strive to outperform customer

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven B2B sales leadership with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic problem-solving abilities.
  • Experienced in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Effective team management, coaching, and guidance.
  • Strong customer focus with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in communication, negotiation, and presentation.
  • Experienced with CRM systems, Ticketmaster, digital ticketing, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with Seat Unique and strong people management skills
