Hello Wembley! The SSE Arena, Wembley (formerly known as Wembley Arena) is globally renowned as the UK’s most iconic entertainment venue. With a rich history that goes back to its days as the Empire Pool and Sports Arena, the building has played host to numerous events including the 1948 and 2012 Olympics.

The venue now boasts a £35 million refurbishment and a winning partnership with SSE. The famous stage has been graced by the likes of Madonna, David Bowie, The Who, Dolly Parton, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and even The Beatles and Rolling Stones who shared the same bill at the 1966 NME Poll Winners Party.

Despite being synonymous with live music, The SSE Arena, Wembley has cemented its status as a sporting venue to rival its neighbouring Stadium. Adding to a glowing reputation for ice shows, the venue regularly hosts Boxing and MMA events and has hosted WWE Wrestling, Snooker Finals, Premier League Darts, Indoor Hockey Finals, the International Strongman Championships and the World Badminton Championships in recent years - not to mention the scores of family and comedy shows the Arena has to offer.
