Leon's Centre is a 6,700 seat sports and entertainment venue located in downtown Kingston, Ontario, Canada, at the intersection of Ontario Street and The Tragically Hip Way. The arena is the home of the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Ground breaking took place July 28, 2006, and construction began November 3, 2006.
Owned by the City Of Kingston, The City hired ASM Global, the world leader in venue management, marketing and development, to manage this innovative facility. The Kingston Frontenacs played their first game at their new home on February 22, 2008. Don Cherry dropped the puck for the ceremonial face off prior to the game.
